Getting Started
How do I play?
Tap a tube to select it, then tap another tube to pour. Liquids can only be poured into a tube that is empty or has the same color on top. The goal is to sort all liquids so each tube contains only one color.
How many levels are there?
SortVision features 1,000 puzzles across 10 difficulty tiers: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Legend.
Stars & Scoring
How do I earn 3 stars?
Complete a level in the optimal (fewest) number of moves. Star thresholds are based on the verified optimal solution for each puzzle.
What are Solution Credits?
Solution Credits let you view the optimal solution for any level. You start with a few free credits and can purchase more from the in-game store.
iCloud Sync
Does SortVision sync across my devices?
Yes. If iCloud is enabled, your progress, star ratings, and settings sync automatically across all your Apple devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
How do I enable or disable iCloud sync?
Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud on your device and toggle SortVision on or off.
My data is not syncing. What should I do?
- Ensure you are signed in to iCloud on all devices.
- Check that iCloud sync is enabled for SortVision in your device settings.
- Make sure you have an active internet connection.
- Try restarting the app.
Controls
iPhone & iPad
- Tap a tube to select it.
- Tap another tube to pour.
- Tap an empty area to deselect.
Mac
- Click a tube to select it.
- Click another tube to pour.
- Click an empty area to deselect.
- ⌘Z to undo the last move.
Apple Vision Pro
- Look at a tube to highlight it.
- Tap to select and pour.
- Use the toolbar and HUD ornament for controls.
Troubleshooting
The app is crashing or not responding.
- Force-quit the app and reopen it.
- Ensure your device is running the latest OS version.
- Update SortVision to the latest version from the App Store.
- If the issue persists, open a GitHub issue.
No sound.
- Check that your device is not in Silent Mode.
- Verify that Music and Sound Effects are enabled in the in-game Settings.
A level seems unsolvable.
Every level has a verified solution. Try using a Solution Credit to see the optimal path, or undo your moves and try a different approach.
