Overview
MemoVision (“the App”) is a family-friendly card-matching puzzle game designed for all ages, available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. We are committed to protecting your privacy — especially when it comes to young players. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Information We Collect
1. Game Progress Data
The App saves your game progress on your device using Apple’s UserDefaults and SwiftData frameworks, including:
- Levels completed, across all 10 worlds
- Best star rating and score earned per level
- Reveal credits remaining, and which levels you have unlocked a reveal for
This data is synced across your Apple devices via iCloud / CloudKit if you are signed in to iCloud, so your progress is preserved when switching devices. It is stored in your own private iCloud database, is associated with your Apple Account, and is governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy practices. We have no access to it.
2. Preferences
Your audio settings — background music and sound effects — and your appearance choice (System, Light, or Dark) are stored locally on the device they were set on. They are not transmitted anywhere.
3. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The App receives only the anonymous transaction records needed to unlock what you bought. We never see or store your name, payment details, or Apple Account credentials.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
- We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
- We do not share any data with third parties.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.
- We do not display advertisements of any kind.
- We do not require or offer account creation.
The App ships with a privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) that declares no tracking, no tracking domains, and no collected data types.
Notifications
MemoVision declares the remote-notification background capability for one purpose only: to receive Apple’s silent CloudKit sync pushes, which tell the App that your progress changed on another device. We do not send marketing, promotional, or any other user-facing notifications.
Feedback Emails
If you tap Settings → Feedback → Send Feedback, the App opens your system mail composer with a prefilled subject line containing your platform name, OS version, device model, and App version — details that help us reproduce issues. Nothing is sent until you press Send in your own email client, and we receive only what you choose to send. If no mail app is configured, the App simply copies our email address to your clipboard.
Data Storage and Security
All game data is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced through Apple’s secure iCloud infrastructure into your private database. We do not operate any external servers and do not have direct access to your data.
Every board is generated on your device from the level number itself rather than downloaded, so ordinary play requires no network connection at all.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your game data is held on your own device and in your own private iCloud database for as long as you keep the App installed, and it is deleted entirely under your control:
- Reset your progress — Settings → Reset All Progress clears level completions, star ratings, and scores. Purchased worlds, reveal credits, and unlocked reveals are deliberately kept, since those were paid for.
- Delete everything on the device — deleting the App removes all of its local data.
- Delete the iCloud copy — the synced copy is removed from your Apple Account through your device’s iCloud settings, under the App’s storage entry.
Because we never collect or receive personal data, there is no account to close, no consent to revoke, and no deletion request to send us — there is nothing held on our side to delete. If you have a question about any of this, write to us at the address below and we will answer it.
In-App Purchases
MemoVision offers optional one-time purchases:
- World unlocks — unlock all levels in a paid world (the Iron world is free in full, and level 1 of every other world is free to try).
- All-worlds bundle — unlock every paid world at once.
- Reveal credit packs — consumable credits that show you a level’s board again.
There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. All purchases are handled by Apple; restore them at any time from Settings → Restore Purchases.
Children’s Privacy
MemoVision is designed to be safe for players of all ages, including young children. The App:
- Does not collect any personal information from children.
- Does not contain advertising of any kind.
- Does not require account creation.
- Does not link to external websites within gameplay.
- Does contain optional in-app purchases, which are protected by the standard iOS parental controls and Ask to Buy. Purchase screens are presented by Apple’s own StoreKit interface.
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable international children’s privacy regulations. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Apple-provided frameworks, each governed by Apple’s own privacy policies:

MemoVision includes no third-party SDKs whatsoever. For more information, please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete on your behalf. Your game data lives on your device and in your own private iCloud storage, entirely under your control.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
